Elias earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Pace University. Upon graduating, Elias received awards for his Academic Excellence and Service to the OT department. He also received the Outstanding Student of the Year Award for the College of Health Professions. Before his graduate studies, Elias obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston University.

While pursuing his clinical training, Elias gained extensive experience treating patients with orthopedic conditions and neuromuscular diagnoses such as fractures, CRPS, and rotator cuff tears. Elias has also interned with the New York State Occupational Therapy Association, where he developed a passion for the State’s JEDI initiative to make OT more inclusive. He has also worked in a private hand therapy practice, treating tendon injuries, hand & forearm wounds, and crush injuries.

Elias is constantly reading up on the latest evidence-based practices to make sure he is providing the best care to his patients. Besides working on making people feel better, Elias is passionate about consumer technology, new restaurants, and skin care. He likes to keep up-to-date with the newest electronics and products and is always up for a bite to eat!
