William received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY, where he also received a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. Prior to pursuing physical therapy, William received a Bachelor of The Arts from Eugene Lang College in Literary Studies, and his 200-hour Yoga Teacher’s Certification from The Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.
Before becoming a physical therapist, William worked as a freelance yoga instructor throughout New York City, working in client homes, gyms, and yoga studios. His prior experiences helped him achieve greater success in his physical therapy career by building rapport with his patients. William also gained knowledge on developing treatment plans for his patients in a variety of settings, whether bedside in patients’ hospital rooms, or in outpatient orthopedic clinics. Clinically, William continually seeks to deepen his knowledge of orthopedics, neuromuscular, vestibular, and pelvic floor physical therapy.
When he is not practicing physical therapy, William enjoys, yoga, weightlifting, biking, cooking, traveling, and reading science fiction novels.
