Sydney graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences from the University of Rhode Island. While working towards her undergraduate degrees, she was also a member of the university’s track and field team as a middle-distance runner. Through years of experience learning about the human body’s ability to recover from overuse and injury, Sydney found her passion for physical therapy. She decided to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at New York University, where she additionally earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialization.

Sydney gained extensive experience working with a diverse patient population in various settings while completing her clinical rotations and observations. She has successfully worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics, outpatient pediatric clinics, and inpatient acute care hospitals. Sydney has observed in length physical therapy treatment for conditions involving the pelvic floor, as well as the neurological, cardiovascular, vestibular, and lymphatic systems, which supplement her ability to provide comprehensive patient care. She highly values empathy and active listening in patient evaluation and treatment, aiming to achieve the highest standard of evidence-based care for her patients.

Outside the clinic, Sydney enjoys staying active by running and biking around Brooklyn. She enjoys cooking new recipes at home as well as trying new restaurants throughout the city. However, her very favorite activity is spending time with her pet cat, Cheese.
