Stephanie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, where she also obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During her clinical rotations, she had experiences in several outpatient orthopedic facilities and spent time volunteering to help runners at the NYC Marathon.
Growing up, Stephanie played soccer on several different teams; watching her teammates go through rehabilitation after suffering various types of injuries sparked her interest in the physical therapy field. Stephanie has a strong interest in manual therapy skills, utilizing these techniques in combination with therapeutic exercises to work with her patients in achieving their goals. She hopes to also help injured athletes return to the sports and activities they love, and get back to life sooner.
Stephanie continues to lead an active lifestyle, frequently boxing, weightlifting and playing indoor soccer on local co-ed leagues. During the winter season, you can find her skiing out on the slopes!
