Stephanie Belaires received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. There she took advanced orthopedic classes and the Gross Anatomy Teaching Practicum. Before heading to New York, Stephanie stayed in her home state of Pennsylvania to receive her Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College where she majored in Exercise and Sport Science. During her time at Ursinus College, she played three years of D3 golf as well as one year of D3 soccer. Being an athlete has emphasized the importance of proper rehab to return patients back to optimal performance as well as to train properly for injury prevention.
Stephanie has experience in outpatient clinics, athletics, skilled nursing, and inpatient care. Stephanie has many professional interests which include return to sport protocol as well as shoulder and knee pathologies. She likes to keep up on current treatment approaches and likes to integrate patient’s sport/functional restrictions into rehab.
She continues to stay active by working out as well as playing golf whenever she can. She enjoys traveling and being a foodie. She would one day like to complete a marathon and travel to every continent in the world.
