Stefany received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College and her Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College. While at Brooklyn College, Stefany developed a strong interest in promoting health and fitness within the adolescent and young adult population in the community. During her undergraduate years, Stefany was a part of the Brooklyn College Women’s Soccer team in which she and her team held the title of “CUNY Athletic Conference Champions” for two consecutive years in a row.

Throughout her clinical rotations, Stefany had the opportunity to help patients with their recovery following a variety of orthopedic conditions within the outpatient setting. Stefany had the good fortune to treat patients in their first few days of post-operative recovery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and provided acute rehabilitation services to patients with neurological disorders at Kings County Hospital Center.

Stefany aspires to become a certified orthopedic clinical specialist and certified in strength and conditioning to further enhance her knowledge. When she isn’t treating patients, Stefany enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, weightlifting, trying new foods, and watching documentaries.
