Stefanie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, where she graduated with honors and became a member of The Alpha Eta National Honor Society of Allied Health Professionals. Her undergraduate studies were also completed at Stony Brook University, where she received her Bachelor of Science with cum laude in Psychology with a minor in Biology. During her time in graduate school, Stefanie attended numerous physical therapy conferences and volunteered her time with certain organizations, including being a medical volunteer for the NYC Marathon.
Stefanie has had experience in outpatient orthopedic, inpatient skilled nursing, pediatric and aquatic therapy settings. Stefanie’s clinical experiences have been diverse, allowing her to treat a wide variety of patients, which has enabled her well-rounded patient approach. Stefanie believes in creating individualized treatment programs and placing patient’s goals and values as top priorities.
During Stefanie’s free time, she enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, cooking, and spending time with family, friends and her dog. She also loves biking, hiking, the outdoors, playing sports and doing anything active.
