Sharon Qu, PT, DPT

Sharon earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marist College and her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Sport Studies from Rutgers University. During her graduate studies, she was a lab assistant for Anatomy and tutored for cardiopulmonary.

Growing up, Sharon always knew she wanted to go into healthcare for her love of helping others. After experimenting with different fields, Sharon chose physical therapy because she felt that it was the one profession that allowed her to ride along for her patient’s entire journey. Sharon spent the majority of her clinical rotations in outpatient rehabilitation where she developed a strong interest in orthopedics, geriatrics, and post-op rehabilitation. She gained knowledge in prosthetic training, balance & gait training, sport related injuries, chronic pain, and neurologic conditions including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and post-stroke. Sharon also completed a clinical rotation in the acute care setting where she gained further knowledge in orthostatic hypotension and other post-op complications as well as worked with patients with a variety of medical conditions including COVID-19. Sharon is committed to providing patient centered care and aims to incorporate an individualized approach to create a rewarding experience for her patients.

Sharon grew up in Queens, NY. On her weekends, Sharon is a major foodie and is always on the lookout for the latest trend especially with desserts. During her free time, she loves to travel, read, hike, bowl, and listen to true crime podcasts.
