Sebastian earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Long Island University where he was a recipient of the Top of the Class Dean’s Award for academic performance. Prior to his graduate studies, he graduated from University of Oregon where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology.

In his professional career, Sebastian has experience working with a diversity of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including post-operative and chronic pain conditions. During his clinical affiliations, he spent extensive time in outpatient orthopedic settings, working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. During his terminal clinical affiliation, he practiced at a neurological rehabilitation center focusing extensively on stroke care. As a clinician, he believes strongly in treating a person and not a condition. He is very passionate about the importance of research and enjoys reading and discussing new updates in scientific literature.

Sebastian was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where he developed a love for the outdoors. He played soccer competitively growing up, and participated in a variety of other recreational sports. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, hiking, going to live music shows, socializing with friends, and traveling.
