Sarah earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, with advanced coursework in clinical orthopedics. Sarah attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at Maryland, Sarah served as the President of Phi Alpha Epsilon, the School of Public Health’s honor society for academic and professional achievement.
Sarah enjoys treating a diverse patient population and has multiple interests including sports medicine, post-operative conditions, biomechanics and movement dysfunctions, manual therapy, injury prevention, health and wellness, and functional training. She incorporates the most current evidence-based research into unique, individualized treatments in order to promote optimal function and recovery.
Sarah has played numerous competitive sports including field hockey, softball and basketball. Currently, she stays active by running and is an avid yogi and tennis enthusiast. She has raced in four half marathons and completed the New York City Marathon in 2013. In her free time you can find her traveling, running in and around the city, practicing yoga, listening to music, venturing out to restaurants of all types, and usually nose deep in a good book.
