Sam attended Springfield College in Massachusetts where she graduated from the accelerated Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She also completed her undergraduate degree at Springfield College, receiving her Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in Rehabilitation and Disabilities. During her time at Springfield College, Sam was a spin instructor and peer educator for health and wellness. She took her studies abroad to Australia in 2019 for 4 months, where she learned how to surf and became vegan. In addition to her education at Springfield College, Sam is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
During her clinical affiliations, Sam had the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations including orthopedics, athletics, cardiovascular, and neurological. Sam’s passion lies in sports medicine and orthopedics. Sam was drawn to physical therapy by the desire to empower others through movement. She is committed to prioritizing her patients’ goals to get them back to doing the things that matter most to them, and believes a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education will get them there.
Sam is originally from northern Connecticut and has recently relocated to Westchester, New York. Sam is very passionate about maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. She enjoys weightlifting, hiking, relaxing on the beach, traveling, going to sporting events, and trying new vegan restaurants across the country.
