Ryan Grunseich is the Clinical Director of Spear’s Westchester Dobbs Ferry location. Ryan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Medical College. Prior to that, Ryan attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, graduating with Honors in his major. During his time at Colby, Ryan played for the football team and further developed his passion for outdoor sports.
After sustaining a hamstring injury in high school, Ryan encountered physical therapy for the first time. The positive experience with a supportive and engaging therapist stuck with him as he found his own path in the field. He continues to be focused on enhancing a patient’s road to recovery. Ryan’s clinical experience includes working with orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, return-to-sport, and injury prevention.
A native of Westchester, New York, Ryan now lives in Manhattan, where he likes to take advantage of the diverse restaurant offering, never shying away from an exotic dish. In his spare time, he enjoys playing paddle, biking, skiing, and the company of his friends and family.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
