Riya received her bachelor’s in Physical therapy degree from SPB physiotherapy college, India. She started her career as a PT technician in USA while she was preparing to get her license in  Physical Therapy. 

After her undergraduate studies, Riya completed her clinical Internship in Cardiology, neurology followed by Orthopedic Rehabilitation. During her clinical Internship she worked In ICU during  COVID pandemic helping patients with Pulmonary Rehabilitation. In last 4 years, Riya has  gained her experience in home health, balance training, Arthritis, frozen shoulder, Post- surgical  Rehab, treating wide variety of neurology cases such as Multiple sclerosis, Stroke etc. However, she has a special interest in orthopedic related Physical therapy because she believes every  individual should have a pain and restriction free active lifestyle. 

With a treatment Philosophy That focuses on exercise and manual therapy, Riya is dedicated to help her patients achieve their goals.  

In her free time, Riya enjoys hosting events, travel and explore different cultures and cuisines.  She is an extrovert and loves to meet new people and know more about them. Cooking is her  therapy and she absolutely loves exploring new cafes with her husband.
