Rebecca Insalaco received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Gannon University in Erie, PA. Prior to graduate school, she received a Bachelors in Sports Medicine while also participating in the Colligate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Women’s water polo team at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. In 2015, Rebecca discovered her passion for physical therapy when she went on a mission trip to Guyana where she volunteered at the Georgetown Boy’s Orphanage, Georgetown Hospital ICU, and David Rose School for Handicapped Children.
Rebecca has completed outpatient orthopedic, subacute rehab in a skilled nursing facility, and acute care/acute rehabilitation clinical experiences in Louisville, Dayton, and Chicago. She treated a variety of musculoskeletal conditions during her orthopedic rotations where she improved her manual therapy/ joint mobilization skills, helped patients return to athletics, and instructed patients in therapeutic exercises. Rebecca gained experience at a Veteran’s Affairs Hospital where she was able to treat a variety of veterans with cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, vestibular, and neurological conditions. Rebecca is invested in providing individualized treatments and dedicated to helping her patients achieve their goals.
Rebecca’s passions include trying new foods and restaurants, traveling, and exercise. She has traveled to Spain, Italy, and Japan where she was able to explore the different countries’ unique natural features, history, and culture. Rebecca enjoys participating in different athletic events like volleyball, swimming, water polo, marathons, and triathlons.
