Rachel earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rachel became interested in sports at an early age, and she eventually earned herself a soccer scholarship for Marquette, where she completed 6 seasons with the Division 1 Big East program. Rachel was initially introduced to the world of physical therapy after she suffered from an ACL tear during her freshman year at Marquette. She grew a profound appreciation for physical therapy while rehabilitating from her ACL reconstruction surgery along with many other smaller injuries she obtained throughout her collegiate soccer career. The relationships she built with her rehab team and the goals she was able to accomplish ultimately sparked her interest in joining the profession.

Rachel gained experience in various clinical settings throughout her time in physical therapy school, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic settings. She was exposed to treating patients with diverse musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. During these rotations, Rachel found her passion in helping others to achieve their goals, whether that may be walking again after a stroke, running without pain, preventing falls, healing from surgery, or returning to sport. Rachel strives to cultivate a positive and patient-centered environment to safely aid her patients in accomplishing their functional goals and returning to their daily activities through personalized treatment programs.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys staying active through sports, workout classes, weight lifting, running, and going for walks to explore the city. She also enjoys traveling, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends. Rachel is originally an Omaha, Nebraska native, and she is eager to continue exploring the Big Apple!
