Pooja Shah, PT, MPT, MS
Pooja is a highly qualified and experienced physical therapist with a strong background in exercise physiology. She has earned her master’s degree in Exercise physiology from the University of Houston, a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy, and a master’s degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from India.
During her three years of work as a physical therapist in India, Pooja gained valuable experience working in a range of healthcare settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, outpatient clinics, and home health care. She has worked with patients suffering from a wide range of injuries and conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and sports injuries. Her experience as a research assistant, where she implemented exercises using virtual reality technology, demonstrates her commitment to staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field. Pooja is known for her compassionate approach and her ability to connect with patients on a personal level, building strong relationships and helping them achieve their goals. Pooja has also developed a broad understanding of various forms of exercise and fitness, including Zumba, aerobic dance forms, ergonomics, and aquatic fitness therapy.
In her free time, Pooja enjoys traveling, playing sports, listening to music, and watching TV shows. She enjoys learning about new cultures and meeting new people. Her warm and inviting personality makes her a joy to be around, and she values building strong relationships with her patients and colleagues. With her exceptional skills, knowledge, and passion for the field, Pooja is committed to serving as a Physical Therapist and continuing to grow and learn new things related to her profession.
