Philippe Corbanese, PT, DPT
Philippe earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Touro College, where he developed a strong foundation in both manual therapy and advanced therapeutic techniques. His clinical expertise spans from managing complex orthopedic injuries to addressing the nuanced needs of neurological disorders, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injuries. He eventually returned to Touro College where he taught Anatomy for 5 years as an adjunct professor.
Philippe is an experienced physical therapist with a comprehensive background in treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. With over fifteen years of experience in the field, Philippe has established himself as an expert in rehabilitative care, leveraging his extensive knowledge and hands-on approach to help patients achieve optimal functional outcomes. He has worked with the US women’s national Rugby team, the Harlem Wizards, and NBA players. Known for his patient-centered approach, Philippe emphasizes individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. His commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development ensures that he remains at the forefront of the latest advancements in physical therapy.
In addition to his clinical practice, Philippe is actively involved in mentoring and training emerging therapists, sharing his insights and passion for the field. In his spare time, he loves spending time on his bike, playing football and basketball, and traveling as much as he can with his family to all parts of the world.
