Noel Tolentino Jr., PT, DPT

Noel earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. Before earning his Doctorate, he graduated from NYC’s very own CUNY Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology. Noel was first exposed to physical therapy in college after landing a job as a physical therapy aide and his passion for the profession has blossomed since. After years of schooling, working as an aide, and volunteering in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings Noel has integrated those lessons and experiences into providing quality patient-centered care. 

While completing his clinical rotations, Noel gained experience working with various individuals of all ages and backgrounds with acute conditions, chronic conditions, neurologic diagnoses, and pre-and post-operative orthopedic conditions. His last rotation was spent here at Spear Williamsburg and he was able to make a positive impact in the community through his manual therapy skills, evidence-based approach, and exercise. 

Prior to Spear, Noel completed his clinical rotation at NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation Center treating individuals with neurologic conditions including but not limited to stroke, TBI, MS, CP, Parkinson’s, and balance disorders. Noel has clinical interests in orthopedics, neurology, and post-surgical rehabilitation. His goal as a physical therapist is to help individuals return to doing what they love through holistic care, education, exercise, and evidence-based practice.

Noel is a Queens native and is still fascinated by the ever-changing city of New York. Outside of the clinic he enjoys playing basketball, lifting at the gym, collecting sneakers, reading manga, and exploring fried chicken variations. Noel is also an unfortunate Knicks fan.
