Nishi received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University. In NYU she assisted in the research of ‘Effects of exercise interventions in individuals with diabetes’. She acquired her Bachelors of Physical Therapy from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, India. In India she completed a cross sectional survey studying the Quality of life in Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients.
During her time in India, she catered to a wide variety of patient loads from mechanical pain to sports specific injury rehabilitation and prevention. She also worked with Cardiopulmonary and Neuro related impairment from pediatric to geriatric.
Her family history of Ankylosing Spondylitis motivated her to become a Physical Therapist to help improve their quality of life and well being. She believes that a patient centric holistic rehabilitation is a must for patient betterment. In her free time she enjoys playing cricket, swimming, cooking, travelling, and watching Bollywood movies.
