Nick Puleo, PT, DPT, CSCS, XPS

Nick earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, where he also received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Psychology. Nick’s clinical experience includes orthopedics, sports rehab, return-to-sport, injury prevention, in season athlete management, and post-operative rehab. He has also conducted research on predisposing factors of lower extremity injuries in female soccer athletes.
In addition to orthopedics, Nick has participated in NFL combine preparatory camps, offseason NFL rehabilitation, and has developed an injury prevention program for a collegiate baseball team. He has experience treating football, baseball, soccer, golf, CrossFit, marathon, triathlon, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, and volleyball athletes. Nick has also worked with patients across all age groups, and has experience treating osteoarthritis, hip and knee replacements, and spinal surgeries.
Nick believes that communication, creativity, and treating each patient as a unique individual is the key to successful rehab. He believes that the emotional and mental components are just as important to rehabilitation as the physical aspects. In order to truly meet a patient’s specific needs and goals he believes that he and the patient must work together as a team to find a solution, and that everyone is entitled to an active lifestyle!
Nick grew up in Westchester New York before moving to Miami Florida in 2014. He enjoys spending time with his friends, watching football, lifting weights, sailing, and skiing.
