Natalia was born and raised in Antofagasta, Chile, earning her degree in Physical Therapy from Universidad de Antofagasta. She completed her Graduate Diploma Program in Ergonomics from Universidad de Chile in Santiago, later validating her degree through the University of The State of New York upon her arrival to the United States. She has spent time working as a physical therapy technician at several clinics around NYC.
Natalia has worked in different areas of the profession: she completed an internship within an orthopedic clinic for a professional soccer team in Chile, and has worked in the areas of cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in hospital settings. She previously worked as an ergonomics specialist, undertaking risk assessments within the workplace, identifying possible improvements and designing and implementing appropriate solutions to prevent work related injuries.
Natalia’s main interests include traveling, working out and cultural diversity. She has been exploring the world of mindfulness and meditation; in the future, she would like to continue to study alternative ways of helping people through a combination of traditional and holistic approaches.
