Naeema has experience working with patients of diverse populations with a variety of orthopedic conditions, such as acute care, subacute care, and inpatient neurological rehabilitation. Naeema had the opportunity to provide physical therapy to a rural community in Nicaragua, in which she provided services such as home visits and attending a clinic in the community. Working with a diverse group of people has allowed Naeema to understand the rehabilitation process, individuals’ values, and how to integrate patients’ goals to improve outcomes.
Currently, Naeema participates in events where she performs health screens and educates the community on the importance of exercise and movement. Naeema’s goal is to provide an evidence-based approach with collaboration from patients in the clinic. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring new restaurants, drawing henna, and crafting DIY projects.
