Matt earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from CUNY Kingsborough in Brooklyn, NY. Matt became interested in physical therapy during their time working as a wheelchair technician under the physical and occupational therapy department at a skilled nursing home.

Throughout Matt’s clinical education he has worked at a skilled nursing home and outpatient clinic where he was able to work with various types of patients and diagnosis. Matt has experience working with various orthopedic and neurological conditions, ranging from acute to chronic onset of these conditions: herniated discs, nerve impingement injuries such as sciatica, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, strokes/traumatic brain injuries, post operative rehabilitation with focus on use of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance and coordination exercise, fall and injury prevention, maintenance of posture and neuromuscular reeducation.

Outside of physical therapy, to stay active Matt likes to rock + ice climbing, biking, skateboarding and hiking with new interests in snowboarding and kayaking. On Matt’s downtime he enjoys to read, listen to music, hanging out at the park and being around family and friends.
