Mario received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. During his time at Marist College, he completed his Capstone Project on Health and Exercise Awareness of Fifth and Sixth Grade in Relation to Childhood Obesity. Prior to receiving his Doctorate, Mario graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Brockport and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. While at SUNY Brockport he served as an exercise mentor, volunteered with cultural organizations and completed his internship at Midtown Athletic Club in Rochester, NY as a fitness intern.

Mario has gained valuable clinical experience in various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, acute care and pediatrics neurological rehabilitation. Mario’s initial interests for physical therapy were kindled from observing physical therapists within his hometown, Middletown, NY. There he realized he wanted to provide individuals the opportunity to help themselves and eventually become independent. Mario aspires to diversify his knowledge in different populations, promote wellness and reduce the risks of sickness/injuries to bring about meaningful improvements to the quality of lives for his patients.

On his spare time, Mario enjoys playing basketball, strength training, traveling, trying new restaurants, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
