Luis Gracia has always had a passion for sports, fitness, and most importantly helping others. He received his bachelor’s degree in Toxicology from St. John’s University in Queens. He obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine, in St. Augustine, Florida. There he focused on clinical orthopedics with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and developing strong hands-on skills. He is currently on track to obtain his Manual Therapy Certification.
Luis has extensive clinical experience in orthopedics working in a private outpatient sports and orthopedic facility in Florida, as well as working with an ACL specialist at Georgetown University Hospital’s outpatient facility. Not only does he have a strong background in orthopedic patient care, his clinical rotations at Glen Cove Rehabilitative Hospital and Brook’s Rehab Hospital in Florida provided him the opportunity to work with post stroke, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury patients where he focused on functional interventions and gait analysis. He enjoys combining the knowledge he learned in all settings to maximize his patient’s rehabilitative process.
Outside of work, Luis enjoys staying active by going to the gym, training for and participating in Spartan Races, and plays flag football in the Long Island Flag Football League.
