Liza Vega, PTA
Liza is a seasoned Physical Therapist Assistant with over 15 years experience. She graduated from Broward Community College on the east coast of southern Florida. She worked as an aide throughout her schooling in an inpatient, outpatient and wound care clinic. She has been able to experience a wide variety of patients and diagnoses, from surgical complications to long term residents.
Liza started as a volunteer in the wound care center where the director convinced her she would be an excellent PTA. She worked side by side with general surgeons, orthopedics and podiatry. She has experience in above settings as well as home health, Rehab and SNF. She returned to NYC and continued helping people while furthering her education through classes and her peers.
Liza has completed courses in Kinesio taping techniques, Advanced Manual Therapy techniques and communication. She is never happier than when a patient reaches their personal goals.
Liza loves traveling, personal fitness and spending time with family.
