Lauren graduated from New York University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Previously, she earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Fine Art from Grand Valley State University. While at New York University, Lauren gained exposure to a variety of settings including pediatrics and acute care. Her clinical interests include pediatrics and orthopedics.
Lauren’s passion for physical therapy began from her time working in Japan as an assistant language teacher and as a snowboard instructor in New Zealand. Physical therapy was a way to bridge her love of education and health and fitness. She has also worked as a personal trainer while going back to school and continues to learn from all her past and current experiences to improve her skills.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys staying active with weightlifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and other outdoor activities such as kayaking and snowboarding. She is never afraid to try something new and adventurous whether it’s surfing, bungy jumping, or skydiving.
