Kathryn Maykish earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2017. As the daughter of two PT’s, you might say this profession is in her blood! Before following in her parent’s footsteps, Kathryn received her BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and worked as an actress and dancer throughout the country. It was during this time that Kathryn became a certified yoga teacher and learned first-hand the power of exercise to heal. She has been a senior teacher in over two dozen yoga teach trainings in New York City and has traveled to teach in Las Vegas, Seattle, and San Francisco. While working on her degree, Kathryn became certified in Level 1 Pelvic Floor Rehab by the Herman and Wallace Institute and is looking forward to continuing her education in all realms of Women’s Health.
As a therapist, Kathryn draws from her experiences as a performer and a mind-body practitioner to understand the unique needs of her patients and help them to maximize their given potential.
In her spare time, Kathryn can be found hiking, watching theater and dance, and traveling the world with her fiancée.
