Jonathan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree while attending Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While completing his studies, he volunteered at Jefferson’s Hands of Hope Clinic and participated in a research project developing a virtual reality model of the human brainstem. Prior to beginning his graduate studies in Philadelphia, Jonathan attended Penn State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Movement Science.
Jonathan has clinical experience in the outpatient setting, treating and caring for patients with orthopedic and vestibular/balance conditions, in addition to inpatient experience where he worked inter-professionally to provide care for patients recovering from complex neurological, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic conditions. Above all, he values connecting with his patients and forming strong, therapeutic relationships.
As a Pittsburgh native, he grew up rooting for the city’s sports teams, being outside along the rivers, checking out local coffee shops, and spending time with his friends and family. Jonathan is excited to begin practicing at Spear and make meaningful change in the community.
