Joey Jackson received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, FL and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Joey was a member of the University of Miami triathlon team and competed nationally.
Prior to PT school, Joey completed a BS in Health Care Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, while serving in the United States Marine Corps and a MBA in Marketing at Colorado Technical University. “My goal is to educate my patients about their body, to optimize movement and enable them to recover faster. As a lifelong athlete, I understand the importance of getting back to exercise and fitness. Using a hands-on, manual therapy approach reinforced with guided patient specific exercise, I will help you meet your rehabilitation and fitness goals.”
Outside of the clinic, Joey enjoys training for a triathlon at the 70.3 distance, Hashing as well as working with the Challenged Athletes Foundation and adapted athletics for athletes with disabilities.
