Jennifer Ramos received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree at University of St. Augustine in San Diego, California, where she was able to specialize in manual therapy. She spent 5 years working in outpatient orthopedics while pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at California State University, Long Beach. Her clinical experience includes pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and neurology. Since 2012, Jennifer has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and New York Physical Therapy Association.
Upon graduation, Jennifer has been dedicated in honing her manual therapy skills for the spine and both upper and lower extremities. Jennifer is clinically interested in integrating functional movement analysis with her manual therapy techniques. She feels that greater results can be achieved when a patient is evaluated as whole.
Jennifer’s clinical passion lies with treating musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. She approaches each case uniquely in order to allow patients to return to their prior level of function or enhance their sports performance.
During her spare time, Jennifer loves to go running, to Pilates or yoga classes, and weight lifting. She has run 10 half-marathons and has participated in a few sprint triathlon events. In high school, Jennifer played water polo and swam, which led to her interest in triathlons during her graduate school years.
