Jamie earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in New York, New York. She served as the Professional Development Coordinator for the Student Occupational Association board and worked as a research assistant. Jamie is in school part-time to obtain her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Boston University. Before her graduate studies, Jamie received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies from the College of Charleston.
In her clinical rotations, she gained experience treating patients with orthopedic injuries and mental health diagnoses. She also has experience working in various settings, including schools, sensory gyms, subacute nursing facilities, and senior community centers. Jamie is passionate about guiding patients through significant life transitions as seamlessly as possible. She focuses on maximizing client communication and developing an enjoyable and successful therapeutic relationship. Jamie is excited to be part of Spear’s fantastic team of practitioners offering Pelvic Floor and Upper Extremity Therapy.
Jamie enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, hiking, relaxing at the beach, reading, attending comedy shows, and listening to music.
