Harrison Herman earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science, and Bachelors in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware. During his time there, he served as Co-Coordinator of a therapy and training program for a professional sled-hockey athlete, in addition to his academic and clinical responsibilities. Harrison’s interest in physical therapy stems from witnessing his parents rehabbing from various debilitating conditions in physical therapy and being able to return to high levels of function.
Harrison’s main clinical experience has been in the outpatient orthopedic and professional sports settings; more specifically with the NBA teams, the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets , as well as at the University of Delaware PT Clinic and SPEAR Physical Therapy. Harrison is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who has experience in helping to train high level athletes. Harrison’s focus and passion is on working with athletes and the active population of New York City to help them to return to doing what they love.
In his spare time, Harrison enjoys playing basketball, exercising, watching movies, going to the beach, and taking his dog on walks.
