Harrison Deneka, PT, DPT
Harrison is a physical therapist at SPEAR’s Williamsburg location. Harrison attended the University of Miami for physical therapy school and had previously attended Birmingham-Southern College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology. Harrison has participated in sports throughout his life, primarily basketball, which led him to become a four-year starter on the Birmingham-Southern College men’s basketball team. After college, Harrison played basketball professionally in Galway, Ireland.
Harrison has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting. He has had experience treating high level athletes in their return to sport as well as patients within the active everyday population. Harrison also has experience working with patients in an inpatient hospital with stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neuromuscular diagnoses.
Outside of the clinic, Harrison enjoys playing basketball, running, cooking, and attending sporting events. He also enjoys travelling domestically and abroad as well as spending time with his family back home in Tennessee.
