Gigi attained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Long Island University. Before earning her Doctorate, Gigi completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science at Hunter College.

Throughout her clinical rotations, Gigi accumulated experience in managing an array of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. These encompassed chronic lower back and neck pain, ankle sprains, and knee injuries, across both outpatient and acute care settings. Her final clinical rotation took place at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Center. During this rotation, she gained valuable experience in treating various vestibular disorders, including BPPV, concussion-related dizziness, and Ménière’s disease—an inner ear disorder. Gigi firmly believes in the principles of evidence-based practice, which involve leveraging her knowledge and skills to interpret research findings and tailor them to the specific needs of her patients or clients. Her overarching goal is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, with a focus on helping individuals alleviate pain, enhance function, and ultimately attain their personal objectives.

Having grown up in Macau, China, Gigi possesses a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and finds joy in exploring new places through travels. In her leisure time, she takes pleasure in activities such as swimming, running, bouldering, socializing with friends, and watching movies.
