Georgina Genovese, PT, DPT
Georgina Genovese earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Carroll University in Wisconsin. At Carroll, Georgina pursued all her clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic settings, working with diverse populations.
Her passion is pelvic health, and other interests include performing arts and orthopedics. She has experience working with a wide variety of pelvic health conditions, professional dancers/performers, and general orthopedic conditions. Since working with Spear Georgina has been able to pursue her passion in pelvic floor physical therapy for both males and females, while also working on the Broadway show Funny Girl. She has attended the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science Conference in Montreal and Ireland, and has also traveled to Peru to volunteer her physical therapy skills for those in need. In the future, Georgina plans to become certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and continue to enhance her manual therapy skills to provide patients with the best care possible. She is consistently seeking out opportunities to learn and grow her knowledge.
Originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, Georgina has loved her transition to New York City. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new coffee shops, cooking, exercising, yoga, traveling, cuddling with her cat Onyx, and trying new restaurants.
