George Padin received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University. During his athletic training education, he worked with a variety of Division I – Division III college sports medicine programs in the Boston area. He continues to work as a per diem athletic trainer.
In physical therapy school, George completed clinicals in various cities including Greenville, SC and Phoenix, AZ. While in Phoenix, he had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, particularly those training for the NFL combine. Here he gained an appreciation for return to sport/functional rehabilitation and a foundation in the Maitland manual therapy approach. His physical therapy education ended in a practicum research project on concussion rehabilitation.
Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete. Although he has donated most of his athleticism to his younger brother, he continues to play pick-up basketball and soccer games. Other hobbies include attending live music events, playing music, and fishing.
