Genevieve earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She has over a decade of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics in 2016. Genevieve has extensive clinical experience treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including pre and post-operative conditions. She specializes in treating patients with dizziness and vertigo, patients with running injuries, fitting patients with semi-custom orthotics, and educating athletes, parents, and coaches about injury prevention and management.
Genevieve decided to pursue physical therapy after injuring her ankle while playing soccer in college and needing physical therapy to allow her to return to playing sports. She feels strongly about developing individualized treatment plans to help patients of all ages get back to the activities they love.
Genevieve is passionate about teaching. She recently moved to NYC from Ithaca, NY, where she was an instructor teaching and mentoring students in the Physical Therapy Department at Ithaca College for the last 5 years. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, with a focus on researching physical therapy.
Genevieve has proudly served the New York Physical Therapy Association for the last 9 years, serving in a variety of roles, and was elected Speaker of the Assembly in 2020.
Genevieve is originally from Oneonta, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, exploring NYC, swimming, running, golfing, and cooking.
