Emma earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University (Newark, NJ) and her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Towson University (Towson, MD). While studying at Rutgers, she took part in their ProBono physical therapy clinic and provided physical therapy care to the underserved Newark community. Along the way, she gained clinical experience in different specialties including pediatrics, outpatient orthopedics including traumatic injuries, and geriatrics.
Emma has always enjoyed competition and sports. She has played soccer since early childhood and went on to play NCAA D1 at Towson University. It is during her collegiate soccer career that her interest in physical therapy sparked, as she witnessed several of her teammates plagued with injuries. Thus, she learned the importance and beneficial results of prehabilitation and post rehabilitation for highly athletic populations.
Emma grew up in Rockland County, NY and currently resides in New Jersey. Emma has continued to stay active through her love of CrossFit, skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.
