Emily earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from George Washington University and Bachelor’s of Arts in Neuroscience from Hamilton College. Her interest in physical therapy stems from her personal experiences as a competitive high school and collegiate athlete on her schools’ cross country and track and field teams, and her prior shadowing experiences at NYU Sports Performance Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Through Emily’s clinical education at GWU, she has worked with patients of all ages in the inpatient acute care and outpatient sports and orthopedics settings. Her clinical experiences include treating general orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries, return to sport, pre/post-op rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, falls and injury prevention, and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease. She utilizes manual therapy, IASTM, therapeutic exercises, and education to help patients reach their goals and return to their highest function. She is dedicated to empowering her patients by giving them the guidance and knowledge they need to succeed and by providing an individualized plan of care every session.

Emily is passionate about continuing education to better serve her patients. She is a certified running coach by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Level 1 and by USATF Coach Level 1. She has completed coursework from the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) Part A Lumbar Spine.  She plans to pursue her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to continue her growth as a physical therapist.

From New York City, Emily enjoys seeking and trying different cuisines and being active through running, weightlifting, yoga, hiking, and more (she is willing to try anything at least once!) She also enjoys traveling around the world and giving back to local and global communities.
