Emily Ward graduated summa cum laude with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi after receiving her degree in Exercise Science of Kinesiology from Mississippi College. As Captain and MVP, she played four years of college tennis and was certified as a tennis teaching professional.
Emily has experience working in a level one trauma center in the outpatient setting, treating primarily ortho-trauma cases and sports related injuries. She has also worked internationally in the British West Indies. In Anguilla, BWI, she implemented injury prevention and training programs to athletes, worked with local clientele, and volunteered in the PT realm with several nonprofit foundations. She then moved to NYC to work as head physical therapist and performance coach for Sportime (John McEnroe Tennis Academy). Emily has experience working with Adidas and top players from the WTA and ATP tour.
Emily, a southern girl, born and raised in Mississippi, is an adventure seeker with a passion for exploring the world. In her free time, she enjoys working out, playing tennis, eating, and spending time with her friends and family.
