Emily obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. At Temple, she was an active board member for the program’s student-run pro bono clinic and helped to improve healthcare accessibility to medically underserved communities in North Philadelphia. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences with a minor in Spanish from Gettysburg College where she played varsity lacrosse and was a member of the 2017 NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse National Championship team. After graduating from Gettysburg College, Emily moved to Andalucía, Spain to teach English before returning to her home city of Philadelphia to complete her DPT education.

Emily has a wide range of clinical experience in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. In the outpatient setting, she has experience treating sports-related orthopedic injuries, geriatric balance dysfunction, post-operative conditions, and both sports and age-related vestibular conditions. In the inpatient setting, she has experience treating patients in the acute care setting on the cardiopulmonary service and in the medical ICU. Working with an array of diverse, complex, and unique patients has helped her develop into a well-rounded and empathetic physical therapist.

Throughout her clinical experiences and DPT education, Emily fostered a passion for treating vestibular conditions and participated in a 10-week advanced vestibular rehabilitation course at Temple University to further enhance her clinical skill set. Emily greatly values developing strong relationships with her patients and is dedicated to empowering those she works with to return to doing what they love through education, motivation, and fun.

When she is not treating patients, Emily enjoys trying new coffee shops, spending time outdoors, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and visiting her family’s home down the shore in Ocean City, NJ.
