Edwina (Winnie) Adrien earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. Winnie is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified IASTM HawkGrip Practitioner (Level 1). She received her B.S. at Ithaca College studying Exercise and Sports Sciences. It was during her time in college where she fell in love with human movement and the science of rehabilitation. Her professional goals are attributed to bridging the gap between rehabilitation, injury prevention, strength and conditioning training, and facilitating proper efficient movements.
At Ithaca, Winnie was a member of the women’s soccer team and has been inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ), her high school alma mater. Winnie has experience in coaching high school and youth sports, including spending part of her summer at the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy. Winnie has been a team player in soccer, basketball, track & field, softball, and volleyball and continues to play co-ed soccer in NYC.
Winnie is from Long Island, NY, and is currently living in the Bronx with her fiancé and terrier mix, Shinobi.
