Dee Coleman, PTA

Dee graduated from Volunteer State Community College, which holds one of the oldest and highly esteemed PTA programs in Middle Tennessee, where he earned his degree in Associate of Applied Science. During his time there, he earned the privilege of becoming class president and was selected to have the student of the year award and provide testimonial to his experience and success during the program and 1 year post-graduation. He has been a member of the VSCC PTA Advisory Board Committee since 2015. 

With 8+ years of experience in the field, Dee has treated patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics in different settings of outpatient, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities and home health in Middle Tennessee and within NYC area. He has experience with sport medicine orthopedics, stroke and cardio rehab, spinal cord injuries, general pain management and patients with neurological disorders. Working his way from scheduling to becoming a Director of Rehabilitation, Dee understands exactly what is required to help a patient to be successful during their experience in receiving PT. 

Dee has a special interest in treating the spine and successfully educating and training all of his patients to provide them with the necessary tools to become proactive and take control of their own physical health and wellness. With several certifications in manual therapy from continued education courses, Dee uses this to aid in relieving acute or chronic pain. Dee loves to dance, travel, explore music, run 5k’s and half marathons and spend quality time with his loved ones.
