Daniel graduated from Ithaca College where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Prior to earning his Doctorate, he received his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Health Studies with a minor in Nutrition and Health Studies.  In 2021, Daniel earned his Personal Trainer Certification (NASM-CPT). As well as, while at Ithaca College he also studied Outdoor Adventure Leadership and assisted at the Ithaca Performing Arts Walk-In Clinic treating theater and music students who had experienced physical injuries.

During his academic experience, Daniel has worked with a variety of patient populations from a 5-year-old with motor planning and coordination issues in a BOCES program in Albany, NY to a 97-year-old female recovering from a hip fracture in Mount Sinai Hospital. His experience has enabled him to work with patients in a variety of settings including: aquatics; school; geriatric stroke recovery assisted-living facility; as well as inpatient hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Outside of his educational and clinical pursuits, Daniel continues to make a positive impact on the community. His role as a Direct Support Professional at Racker Center involved assisting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. He also volunteered for various organizations, such as the ICPTSA Bomber Blitz 5k Run and the Alzheimer Society of America Fundraising Walk, exemplifying his commitment to giving back.

Daniel, a certified Red Cross Lifeguard since 2015, was a medal-winning member of the Ithaca College Bombers Swimming and Diving teams. He was also the teaching assistant for IC’s Snow Sports course, the Health and Safety officer for the ICPT Wellness Club, an active member of IC’s Volleyball and Rock-Climbing teams, and an active participant in the Pelvic Health Club. He loves hiking, climbing, running, working out, board games, and cooking.

Daniel’s educational achievements, extensive certifications, hands-on clinical experiences, community engagement, and personal interests together paint a portrait of a dedicated healthcare professional with a holistic approach to patient care.
