Cristina is a “double husky” graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned both her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science degrees. As a student, she received several scholarships honoring her service to the community and commitment to the physical therapy profession.
Cristina has gained clinical experience in a wide range of clinical settings, including neurosurgical critical care, traditional orthopedics, and pelvic floor care, but her passion is pelvic floor physical therapy. She is a fierce advocate for accessible pelvic floor care and knowledge/education. For the past three years, Cristina has been an administrative team member for Core 4 Momentum, an online educational resource for birthing people to learn about the changes their bodies go through during and after pregnancy. She has presented on the pelvic floor at educational events and runs a fun and informative pelvic floor Instagram (@pelvicfloored).
Outside of the clinic, Cristina can be found playing guitar, spending time with friends, exploring Brooklyn, and staying active. Her favorite ways to get moving are yoga, walking/running/hiking, and weightlifting. She loves to try new group fitness classes around town and listen to live music!
