Courtney Nilson, MS, OTR/L

Courtney Nilson is the Clinical Director of our Tribeca – Park Place location. Courtney earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University. She was a member of the Student Occupational Therapy Association for two years, where she served on the National Board of Assembly, advocating and fundraising for research grants and occupational therapy. For her undergraduate degree, Courtney graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of Utah.

In her clinical rotations, she gained experience treating patients with orthopedic injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cords. She also has experience working in various settings including schools, sensory gyms, adult habilitation programs, and senior community centers. Courtney was drawn to occupational therapy by the innate desire to help others be able to do the things that matter most to them. She is passionate about working with her patients to help them gain more independence in their everyday lives.

Courtney enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending time with family and friends. She ran competitively throughout high school and college. While living in Utah, she gained a love for hiking and skiing. Since moving to New York, she loves exploring the city and hanging out with her cute pup and friends.
