Casey McKavanagh received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College after earning her B.A. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College. While at MSMC, Casey worked for the Athletic Training Department working with the various collegiate athletes rehabbing them from injury to return to sport. During her time at NYMC, Casey gained experience treating in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics and acute care.
Casey’s clinical interests include orthopedic and sport-related injuries; however, she enjoys working with all types of people of varying ages and clinical diagnoses. While at NYMC, she studied pediatric balance in depth, as her doctoral project focused on designing and conducting a study to determine the best clinical tools to assess children’s balance impairments.
Casey was born and raised in New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the city, working out, and spending time at the beach.
