Caitlin Hadjis, OTD, OTR/L
Caitlin earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech. Throughout undergraduate school, she worked as a special education aide with college-aged students, which solidified her passion for occupational therapy.
She completed her clinical rotations working on the upper extremity with adult patients and in acute care with pediatric patients. During these experiences, she worked with patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and chronic diseases or disorders. Caitlin practices with an emphasis on communication with patients, as well as team members, to establish rapport and trust. Prioritizing empathy, respect, and flexibility, she aims to provide effective, individualized treatments.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys reading, going on walks, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
