Brandon Barquin, PT, DPT
Brandon attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where he received both a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Rehabilitation Sciences with a minor in Psychology. While at Northeastern, Brandon discovered an admiration for dancing and pursued this passion as the leader of his fraternities dance team throughout his time at school. Additionally, Brandon assisted his professors in a project to break down the biomechanics of a baseball swing and establish which hitting drills were effective in producing a more optimal swing.
Brandon has experience working with a diverse population of orthopedic conditions in a multitude of clinical settings. As a student, Brandon worked as a Physical Therapy Aide in two sports oriented outpatient clinics. This experience provided Brandon with an affinity towards working with young athletes and returning them to their prior athletic capabilities. Brandon also completed three clinical experiences where he continued to expand his knowledge of physical therapy through various treatment approaches and methodologies of his instructors. As a therapist, Brandon highly values patient centered care and empowering patients to understand the rationale behind physical therapy interventions in order to promote a more independent style of care and prevent future injury.
Outside of the clinic, Brandon enjoys listening to music, dancing, weightlifting, and playing with dogs. Furthermore, Brandon makes an effort to stay involved in recreational sports he participated in growing up; including baseball, lacrosse, karate, volleyball, and diving.
